The Youth of Good Shepherd serve Christ and the church in many, many ways. This July they are going to a part of Maryland in great need of assistance. There they will meet up with a hundred other youth and together they will work to repair the homes of the poor, elderly and infirm. In the evenings they will have singing, worship and fellowship with one another. This mission trip is a highlight of the youth activities and this is the third time they have had this opportunity. They work to pay not only their way but also the cost of supplies needed to help the people they will serve. This is a profound experience for the youth and the adults who go with them.
Our Youth also serve as acolytes, teachers of younger children, hard workers at our fund raisers and fellowship dinners. They meet together for Bible Study every Sunday morning and they have other different activities and adventures throughout the year. They are ably led by Jean and Joe Szczesny. Add Content...
